Days of the Russian Cinema

Within the frames of the ninth international film festival "Eurasia" will take place the days of the Russian cinema that will present the brightest Russian drama films of the last year. The selection committee of the program especially emphasize that this panorama is made not only for the history and film experts, but for the real persons – cinematographers, film critics, spectators who would like to see during Eurasia everything that is impossible in the other circumstances. The majority of presented films had already participated in the competition program of numerous film festivals. For example, the movie “The Geographer Drank His Globe Away " of Alexander Veledinsky was the winner of "Kinotavr", and Yury Bykov's film "Major" was presented in out-of- competition program of Venice Venetian film festival this year.

The Russian girl with the nickname Princess and the Armenian lad Karen fall in love with each other. Now they must defend their love with weapons in hand, against enmity and cruelty reigning around them.

Inna is a successful young woman with an excellent sense of humour. She is a restaurant manager, who has earned the respect and love of colleagues and bosses alike. She also has a most important person in her life: her six-year son Mitya, whom Inna raises alone. Mother and child entertain a touching, kind, caring relationship; they are not just best friends, but allies who support each other. Unexpectedly Inna is caught up by a terrible predicament: she is diagnosed with an incurable illness. Now the main thing is to find new parents for little Mitya, otherwise the child will become a lonely orphan.
